Selected by USSOCOM for elite SpecOps missions, the ELCAN Specter DR 1-4x dual role weapon sight is reliable, amazingly bright and very accurate. Whether the mission calls for clearing a building or open-terrain patrol, the ELCAN Specter DR dual role weapon sight provides both fast acquisition and long-range target identification. It is the only combat sight that switches between CQB (close combat battle mode) and precision ranged fire mode - in the blink of an eye.
The illuminated reticle, along with the red aiming dot, is controlled by a new and improved low profile illumination switch that reduces the sight’s width and weight, while increasing battery life by 50 percent.

The ELCAN Specter DR 1.5-6x dual role weapon sight is a revolutionary optical design that combines the best of close combat and precision fire ranging features into a single, low profile dual-field-of view sight. The dual-role capability gives machine gun operators and designated marksmen a sweeping 1.5x view of the battlefield for target acquisition, and then allows instant switching to 6x for accurate, long range precision fire and suppression.
